With 77% of their funding from individuals, corporations and grants that's no small task.<br /><br />Holt Renfrew will be lending a hand to this worthy cause on July 22 for the Shop with Pride Event in store complete with DJ, drinks, fashion and a special guest appearance. Partial proceeds of sales will go to A Loving Spoonful. Need another justification to buy that Marc Jacobs purse, well here you go!! I couldn't resist jumping the gun just a little and posting this truly inspirational fundraising project. <br /><br />The Uniform Project is a year-long fundraiser for the <a href="http://www.theuniformproject.com/home/about_akanksha.html">Akanksha Foundation</a>, a grassroots movement that is revolutionizing education in India. At the end of the year, all contributions will go toward Akanksha’s School Project to fund uniforms and other educational expenses for slum children in India. I love when fashion meets philanthropy, and this is such a neat idea.
